Physiotherapy
What we do?
Physiotherapists at Mokshaa help to restore movements and function, when someone is affected by injury, illness or by disability. The physiotherapists at moksha work in the following domains:
Neuro Physiotherapy
Focuses on rehabilitating physical impairment caused by neurological conditions, such as stroke, Parkinson’s diseases, Traumatic brain injury/ Head injury, Spinal cord injury, Neuromuscular disorder and degenerative diseases. It is a combined protocols including simple passive exercises or tailored therapy techniques to build strength and co- ordination and use of advanced equipment such as Gait training harness system and body weight support systems, balance training systems, biofeedback systems to overcome Neurological impairment and to gain functional physical abilities.
Pediatric Physiotherapy
Involved with the management of physical impairment in infants, children and adolescents with a variety of developmental, skeletal, or acquired disorders or diseases. We aim to achieve maximum functional potential for each task and utmost independence. when doing daily tasks and functions. Pediatric physiotherapy helps children improve their motor skills, strength, endurance, balance and co- ordination.
Orthopedic, Musculoskeletal and sports Physiotherapy
focuses on freedom from pain , and movement and function with independence in all aspects of life physically”. It involves the management of musculoskeletal problems, injury and post operative rehabilitation, to work on movement based intervention for the management of pain and motor dysfunction that is often associated with loss of normal motor control. The place where pain, injury and the importance of ergonomics during work is educated. A combined approach of evidence based protocol treatment and high end equipments utilisation to manage pain is employed to bring out the best results in patients.
